You know, "You're the Best"!

When i saw this Tilda with Carrots..i just loved her, but you know i wasn't quite sure how i wanted to use her on a card..she's great for fall, but i am thinking she could be used like this anytime?

So with two challenges in mind, one for Totally Tilda, "Summer Fun" and the other for Just Magnolia, "In the Country" they come together to make a wonderful "State Fair" card.

Here is my card:
The sketch i used is from Sketch Saturday#218

Happy Birthday, Edwin style

You know the number one card i read about that people struggle with making?  It's a masculine/boy card...little boy and baby are probably the easiest though.  I would bet that teen would be the next one.  Anyway, was just thinking about it...  I think that Edwin from Magnolia stamps probably gets overlooked next to Tilda..kind of like Ken and Barbie.

So i am glad that the challenge at Magnolia Stamp Lovers is "Edwin Only" ...
Here is my card:
I chose to pop up his leg a bit higher than his other leg...by using a thicker foam dot.  I also used some "clock gears" instead of the flower shown in the sketch.
Here is the sketch i used from Sweet Stop #169

At Mo's challenge blog the current challenge is "In the Dog House"...i was surprised at how many Mo's images i had with dogs..however, i haven't used this image yet..even though i had him in my "line up" (i had printed him off..lol)  This image so made me want to have a chocolate chip cookie...one of my favorite treats.. oh what am i saying anyone that knows me knows i like any type of desserts.  My son-in-law laughs at me when i say pie is fruit and it's great for breakfast!

Hope it's not too late...

to say...you fill in the blank,  Hope it's not to late "to wish you a Happy Birthday" or "send you best wishes for a great day", or "to follow your dreams"...

This is my card for {Pin}spirational challenge blog:

This week the challenge at {Pin}spirational is to use this photo as inspiration.

Our sponsor this week is from Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps and the image i used is a freebie found here.

Gonna stick my neck out...

And wish you a Happy Birthday...  Cute image, huh?

I am going to tell you my mistake, so that maybe, maybe it might help someone else...
Here is the deal..i like to cut out my images...and normally, i don't have too much of a problem cutting out the teeny tiny bits...but today the giraffee's mane got a "haircut" and instead of throwing it all away and starting over..i gave him a baker's twine bow...now see..if i didn't tell you, you might not have known.  And in the end, i wouldn't have thought to give him a bow and i actually like it better!!  So mistakes can be good. :)

Here is my card:

You are Toad-ally Amazing, you know that right?

I've had this image printed off for a while..it was before i changed my paper out to X-Press, this paper was GP from Wal-mart.  So what have i noticed now?  Well, GP absorbs more..so i used more ink..i didn't have too much of a problem this time with bleeding, but then, i knew i was cutting out my image.

I've made this card for Tiddly Inks Challenge which is a sketch..
Here is he sketch from Tiddly Inks:

Happy Birthday, Cupcake box

I purchased several of these cupcake boxes because they fit perfectly inside of an explosion box.  I had done several of the boxes up by adding the flowers and the folded paper around the bottom.  Wasn't sure how i was going to embellish them until these challenges came up for technique, gift box and cupcake photo inspiration..and again because of these 3 challenges this project came together.

Here is my project and a second picture w/the box opened:

Enjoy Your Day!

Totally made this card with these challenges in mind....and it's late and past my bedtime..so i will be brief...

Here is my card using Bud from Mo's Digital Pencil:  (and oh it' so hard to add the link for this image because it's like opening Pandora's Box every time i visit Mo's shop...and i get sooo tempted) I've tried to get the newsletter to come to my email...but it doesn't come :(  It might be a good thing though. :)
of course i used one of my "go to" places for my sketch...The Sweet Stop:

So my challenges are:
Mo's Challenge Blog- Hugs and Kisses #144
The Sweet Stop- Sketch and a spin w/numbers (i added the corner w/numbers)

Just sitting here thinking of you!

I've used this fun image from Doodle Pantry..with a twist..it was 3 birds sitting on a branch and i chose just one of the birds..and it happened to be the bird hanging upside down..and i've made him so the is right side up.. I loved the expression on this bird and thought it went well with this week's sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Here is my card:

Princess-ness

Trying a new technique today.  I saw this card that was painted and then then the top body half was attached on top...and i liked the card and have saved it to try...but for some reason...tissue paper came to mind and i wanted to use it instead of paint...soooo...i printed the image off 3 times, glued white tissue paper on top of one image and orange on top of the second one and then colored the top half of the 3 image.  Cut out the last one and then layer pieces of the white for the dress and orange for the dress.  I added some embellishments...and came up with this:

I made this card for {Pin}spirational challenge blog where i am on their DT.  This week our sponsor is...ta da....

It's SO HOT!

When i scheduled this post it was reading 104 degrees in Indianapolis..whew...i think we all need to sit in a kiddie pool to cool off...but wait..i remember that if it's that hot outside the water is like a hot tub instead of feeling refreshing..i guess i will just sit inside and enjoy the air conditioning for now. :)

This week at Card Crafter's Circle we get to use Dearie Doll images...and they are SOOO Cute..i mean really!  This card was a joy to make!  This image is one of the freebies on Dearie Dolls blog...you need to go check these out!  She is our sponsor this week and i will be making another card with an exclusive image made just for this challenge!

I'm your biggest fan!

Oh, it feels good to be back in a bit of routine.  I've missed not making some cards for Mo's challenge blog...i am finally getting organized again..and it's a good thing because i have some really awesome Mo's images in my collection...and i need to be using them.  This image that i am using on this card is one that i fell in love with instantly, but hadn't used yet.  The theme for Mo's challenge blog is "Singing and Dancing" and even though i have several Mo images, i didn't have actual singing and dancing, but this one "could" be learning to sing and dance?  Or it could make you want to sing and dance?

Here is my card:

Hello!

Well, i needed some Hello Kitty paper...and i didn't have any so i searched the web for some free printable paper...and found that etsy shops are selling it...and i thought..surely someone has clip art too...and i found some here.  I then reduced the size and tiled the images to make a 6 x 6 page of paper.  There is a symbol of black knuckles, but i am calling them paw prints. :)  This image isn't a digital image from SC but a Simply Sassy rubber stamp that Krista makes for Funky Kits here.

Here is my card all sparkly:
