Here is my YouTube video:

Previously on Youtube, i used a Flip camera and edited my taping using the program that came with it.  Well, like all electronics.. it was no longer used because of cell phones and the ability to make great videos..so the Mac system no long supported my editing program...so i quite making videos.

Usually my videos are instructional..i made my first video for my friend because she was struggling with using a cricut cartridge..(quite some time ago) and so i quickly taped how to put the layers together..and popped it on YouTube not having any idea that anyone but my friend would see it.. i wasn't into YouTube at the time...other than to watch a few videos.  All of the sudden i had a bunch of people following me and i felt responsible and started making a few videos and my audience increased.  As i said i stopped when i couldn't create the videos with my flip camera.

Lately, i've been making videos, but because i had to hold my camera with one hand and make crafts..it limited me to what i could do while filming..and my filming was a bit shaky at times.

So now i have this neat set up, thanks to Goodwill and to my husband.
What we found was a lamp at Goodwill for $4.99 it has a weighted base so i can position it anywhere.  It also has a weighted arm, so i can have some flexibility moving my camera up and down.  We also purchase a car mount at Marshalls (men's dept...where the gadgets are).  My husband took the end of the phone mount off and the shade off of the lamp and cut the cord and took the wiring off.  The car phone mount is adjustable and can rotate. The car mount was $10.

Thanks for looking, and please subscribe to my YouTube Channel..i promise you will love the next video i make!!

Sherri Baldy's My Besties Pumpkin Easel Card

I am now on Sherri Baldy's My Besties Video team on Youtube.  I will be making monthly videos, and sometimes videos more often than that.  This is one of first videos that i have released..but it isn't my first video using My Besties as my main focus.

This blog post is a follow-up to my Youtube Video making pumpkin boxes and an Easel card with Sherri Baldy's image

How did i come up with this idea?  First, a DT friend, Miranda created a present box easel card and she shared her instructions here and the desire to create these became really popular.  I wanted to do something different and came across a Pinterest post w/a video showing how to make pumpkin boxes using a Box board (similar to the Envelope board) and i really didn't want to buy the box board, so i went searching for a way to make a 1" box and came across another video on Pinterest showing how to make a 1" box.  I knew i'd like another 1.5" box so i asked my mathematical husband if he could figure the dimensions..and instantly he did.  Yay.

So i will share all the links below..so you can also see how i formulated this concept..and maybe you will have a better idea.  :)

Sherri Baldy's My Besties 3D decoupage Halloween Cookbook part 2

This week at My Besties 3-D Deco Challenge blog we have another great two week challenge for you!

The theme is Anything Goes!

To participate in our My Besties 3D challenges go here:

Remember two weeks ago for the My Besties 3D challenge "Pin It", i made a Book container..and it was part one of a two part challenge.  This week i am making the cookbook that goes inside of the book container!

In the background you see the last challenge's book container and in the front my cookbook.   For this challenge i choose to make my own 3d image.  Oh were those legs interesting....popping those in the front out. :)  I have also continued with the stick pin and added another one to this project.
Showing the cookbook inside of the book container:

Showing the cookbook opened with a recipe showing:

These sheets are fun and easy to use!  They are all pre-colored for you, all you do is print out your sheets, cut out the pieces you wish to use and layer them with foam tape, foam dots/squares or Silicone glue.

The image i used to make this 3D decoupage is img013 found here.

An inside look of the supplies i used for my cookbook:
I covered two pieces of cereal box cardboard.  Covered them with Halloween paper, cut out black pages for the recipes. Hole punched them all and used the ring binder clips.  I decorated the front cover with the 3D image i made from a My Besties image.

Copics used:
skin- YR20, 21, 24, E02
hair- N0, 02 stickles/stardust
lips- RV29
shirt- YG01, 03, 17
